I think it's very sturdy, and it's a great piece to do lots of things with. It is made out of white plastic like the crib, and I think it would go well with a wooden piece. Bitty fits well enough, but of course, you have to take the tray off to put her in. I don't know how worth the money it is, though, as I found mine secondhand.
